My Journey, Your Celebration
Hi, I’m Ana; the baker behind The Sugar Brook, formerly known as Custom Cakes by Ana.
What began as a creative escape in my kitchen has grown into a home studio where celebration cakes are made with care, intention and a whole lot of love.
After exploring larger wedding work and the event space, I realised the moments that light me up most are much closer to home — birthdays, family gatherings, first candles, and the kind of celebrations where everyone goes back for seconds.
From my council-registered kitchen in Cranebrook, I bake everything from scratch. Every sponge, filling and buttercream is made fresh, with thoughtfully balanced flavour pairings and attention to detail in every finish.
Growing up as the daughter of a jeweller, I was surrounded by craftsmanship from an early age. That appreciation for detail and precision still shapes the way I work today — each cake designed to feel beautiful, considered and truly special.
The Sugar Brook is a return to what matters most to me: home, community, and creating cakes that bring people together around the table.
